Pickering signed onto ICLEI years ago — tying our city to the UN & WEF. Now global policies trickle down as local rules: car-free pushes, CCTV cameras, trail tracking, food controls, and a Net-Zero 2050 pledge. Residents never voted for this — yet we’re living it.
