Rib: Danville Silver & Gold Mylar Tinsel, #14, Silver
Body: Wool, Light Brown
Throat: Shlappen, Brown
Wing: From black cock's tail feather (bluish black) or Goose Quill, Black

The Knowle's Fancy is another wet fly from Ray Bergman's book Trout (page 435, plate #5). The Knowle's Fancy is a nice natural wet fly that can be fished as a drowned insect, and emerger or even a nymph. This one challenged me as the wing did not want to go in as I wanted it to and I had to make a second pair of wings to get the job done. Sometimes, everything works and sometimes, nothing does. --Enjoy
