IDF Spokesperson:

IDF forces destroyed a building in Baita al-Shaab that was used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization for military activity in southern Lebanon

As part of a nighttime operation last night (Saturday) by Brigade 300 forces, a building that was used by the Hezbollah terrorist organization for military activity was destroyed, in the Aita al-Shaab area in southern Lebanon.

The activity of Hezbollah terrorists in the building constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon.

The building that was destroyed also served as the home of a Hezbollah terrorist, Muhammad Hussein Qassem, who was eliminated about a week ago in the same village, after he was identified as working to attempt to restore Hezbollah infrastructure in the area.

The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel.
