Why in the world would he actually take his son and be willing to sacrifice him? his son, the one that he called the seed. Remember, when he had Ishmael, he said, well, Ishmael could be the seed. God said, no, that's not the way this is going to work. I told you the seed was going to come through Sarah. Concluding that God was able to raise him even out from the dead. That's why he was willing to sacrifice his son, because then I'm going to sit here and watch a man get raised from the dead. because he actually believed God.
