Occam’s Razor Gardening, Cooking & Canning Ep 102

Welcome. Another chilly morning. The new vine shoots continue off onto the flag stone paths off the Zucchini Box growing some nice new healthy leaves and new fruit. This should be good for a couple of more days until the next drop in temperature.

The backyard giant sunflower is finally showing yellow petals.

Ths squash box continues to slowly die off with the temperature change. I did find at least one zucchini before it overgrew in the box. But the squashes are pretty well done. Just waiting for the last of the Spaghettie squashes to turn golden yellow.

The beans continue to produce better in these cooler temperatures and the Kale continues to be a beast.

Butch’s skinny stalks could not take the critter weight of those climbing on to get the goodies from the flower heads and several more flowers were snapped off today. I think there’s three flowers left on ‘ole Butch.
