Dr Tim Kelly

Tim started his winding career path with a computer science degree at Southampton University, where he developed the systems thinking approach that would later prove unexpectedly valuable. Convinced he didn't want to spend his life in an office and armed with perhaps naive dreams of saving the world, he headed to Cardiff Medical School.

Post-graduation, he's masterfully avoided what most would call a 'proper job,' crafting a portfolio career spanning emergency medicine, property renovation, and software development. His time with Raleigh International added another perspective to his already eclectic worldview.

One of the few NHS doctors to speak out against lockdown policies from the outset – despite threats to his career – Tim went on to run the Smiles Matter campaign, distributing 100,000 leaflets challenging lockdown policies. He co-founded The Hope Accord, calling for the suspension of mRNA products, which garnered support from nearly 2,000 doctors, 2,000 scientists (including our nominated NIH director), and 65,000 concerned members of the public.

Drawing on fifteen years of experience straddling multiple fields, Tim has become increasingly intrigued by how our hyper-specialized medical system might benefit from a dose of common sense and broader perspective.

In his December 2024 presentation to MD4CE International, Tim explored the fundamental question 'What is health and disease?' – a topic that would have bewildered his younger self, who once thought doctors had all the answers.

Tonight Tim will talk about the limitations and dangers of AI and the system which he has developed for exposing it.
