Athina, Manos Hadjidakis

Athanasia Nikolakopoulou performs the song "Athina" by the Greek composer Manos Hadjidakis (1925-1994), based on the transcription for classical guitar by Gerasimos Miliaresis.
The lyrics of the song were written by Nikos Gkatsos (1911-1992). Nana Mouschouri sang the song for the first time in the Wolfgang Muller-Sehn documentary "Hellas, the country of dreams" (original title "Traumland der Sehnsucht").
