In Light May I Walk

In light may I walk, in His spirit abound
A kindness to share, a love without bound.
May I perceive the truth beyond all,
Hearing the Master’s beneficent call.

May I hear the voice of infinite need
Calling me onward to celestial deed.
Onward and upward perception enhanced
Joyful and laughing in freedom entranced.

In respect that I pray, my answers appear
As miracles occurring, amazing and clear.
I understand little but faith in His care
Such mercy and grace are far beyond fair.

And so my trust grows, as King David’s did too
Thus I sing out my praises as the dawn gives
I don’t know my future but it matters not
In the Infinite’s hands I’ll cast my lot.
