Mehrdad Majzoobi is the creator of Ubo pod, a hackable and modular system that facilitates self-hosting of apps and offers a customizable AI assistant.

He received his PhD in EE from Rice University in 2012 and has been building hardware products ever since.
In this talk, he presents his unique approach to building a modular and open hardware system and ideas on building an open source economy.
