First Surrey UFO Meetup – Community, Contact, and Consciousness

On August 10, 2025, the very first Surrey UFO Meetup was held at the Surrey Central Library, drawing 13 enthusiastic participants. Organized by Brian Ruhe, who has been running UFO gatherings since 2009, this event marked the beginning of a new chapter in building a supportive experiencer community in Surrey and Vancouver.
Highlights include:
• Guest speaker: Dr. Karen Lee, a Beijing-trained medical doctor and hypnotherapist, sharing insights from 12 years of regression therapy and past life exploration.
• Experiencer challenges: candid discussion on the stigma of UFO contact and the importance of safe spaces for experiencers to connect.
• Community format: a structured schedule with UFO news, a guest talk, and dedicated time for socializing.
• Personal stories: attendees shared encounters with gray aliens, hybridization themes, religious perspectives, and government secrecy.
• Spiritual practices: reflections on visualization, remote viewing, and the connection between ET contact and human evolution.
