Proverbs 10 Sung Word for Word | Righteousness vs Wickedness

📖 Proverbs 10 marks the beginning of the classic “Proverbs of Solomon” collection. Each verse is a two-line proverb contrasting the way of wisdom with the way of folly, the righteous with the wicked, diligence with laziness, truth with deception.

This chapter reminds us that:

Righteousness delivers from death (v.2)

God provides for the righteous but frustrates the wicked (v.3)

Diligence brings wealth while laziness leads to shame (vv.4–5)

Love covers all wrongs (v.12) — a theme echoed later in the New Testament

The fear of Yahweh prolongs days (v.27)

The righteous stand firm forever (v.25, 30)

By singing this chapter word-for-word, we are not only remembering wisdom but planting it deep into heart and mind. This is more than poetry; it is a prophetic declaration of life, blessing, and eternal truth.
