James 1:16-27

Father God, we praise You and thank You, that You make plain what gifts are from You so that the seed of doubt can not be sown in our hearts and minds. We ask that You keep in the forefront of our mind that we ought to be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath, so that we walk up right in Your sight.
We ask that You continue to convict our spirit of being more than just readers of Your Word. Lord, lead us to be Your hands and feet here on earth, visiting the orphan, widows and all those who are in times of trouble. Let us walk in a way that glorifies You to all we encounter. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
