Tahoe Wildlife Series Strange Black & Yellow Caterpillars

In the summer of 2023, I noticed the appearance of strange black & yellow crawling insects that resembled a cross between a bumble bee and a caterpillar. I looked them up and found that they were the early stage of a yellow spotted tussock (Tiger) moth (Lophocampa maculata). I only saw them in 2023 and they seem to have moved on to other locations
