Israeli attacks destroyed 90% of Gaza universities, shattering hopes for higher education

When Israel launched its war on Gaza, thousands of young Palestinians were well into their academic studies.
Nearly two years later, Israeli bombardment has damaged or destroyed nearly 90 percent of schools and universities across the Strip.
The classrooms students once sat in are reduced to rubble, along with their hopes of an education.
