The Communion Of The Spirit

Ok so I took this message from the book titled, “Ministry Of The Spirit” written by A. J. Gordon in 1894. The chapter is the title of this message. It is an outstanding book about the totality of the function and purpose of the Holy Spirit. I did however find that this particular chapter really spoke to me and so I wanted to share it with you. In this season of researching I have been looking at a lot of books that speak on the Holy Spirit since He is so very neglected in todays church. Oh what a gentleman and if we knew how little it took to quelch his activity well I suppose we may well just decide to stop doing those things since He is the power representation of God in the earthly ambassadors, lords, priests, and kings. Without…wait lets hear it from the mouth of the King of kings:

John 15:5 - “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.

And well as you already know without Jesus and the Holy Spirit you have no religion that will get you to heaven. It’s nothing more than a fake insurance policy.

Well before I get too far into another message let’s be blessed and commune with the Holy Spirit.
