Getting Low on Fuel As We Live Off Grid Sept 02 2025

the rainy season is in full swing here with rain and more rain with sunshine in between but this is better then forest fires. to use up the tin sheet metal we have saved for close to 30 years. it was decided to toss it on the roof of the winter freighting cabooses as fire protection. only problem was it was windy and off and on rain when i did the first caboose this morning. then it was loose ends after lunch with figuring out how much diesel fuel we have left to make another month with no hydro power. oh well thansk
