How I Know My Daughter Mastered Her Reading Skills

How do you know when your child has truly mastered their reading skills?
For us, it’s not a grade or worksheet. It’s when she can do it on her own.

This week, while working on narration, my daughter identified the story elements and the entire structure of a story without any help. That’s real mastery and it shows me she’s ready for the next step.
