James 2:14-26

Almighty God, we praise You and thank You that through Your Holy Spirit we are led to perform the good works You have predestined for us. We praise You and thank You that when we follow Your good and perfect will by these good works not only do we glorify You to the world, we also build on our faith. Building on our faith produces more good works. Lord, we ask that You remind us that this by no means is paying for atonement. We know there is nothing we can do or say would ever be good enough for what Jesus has already done. These good works are in a loving and humble response to what He had done on the cross. We ask all this in the redeeming name of Jesus, Amen!
