I have fought abuses of power my whole life including being a whistleblower in the USMC. My book spawned from a worry that my relationship with my daughter could eventually become strained and I wanted her to always be able to learn lessons from my mistakes even if she didn't want to approach me directly and an ever increasing realization that our freedoms are eroded with each passing year.
