House Speaker Mike Johnson spoke to reporters after lawmakers met with several of the victims of convicted sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein. The speaker says lawmakers remain dedicated to protecting the identity of the victims while bringing justice to those involved. The speaker called the crimes against the victims "heartbreaking and infuriating." The speakers' remarks came as GOP lawmaker Thomas Massie (R-KY) formally filed a discharge petition to force a vote on the floor for the release of all files related to Jeffrey Epstein.
