📖 2 Corinthians 8–9: The Grace of Generosity 💰🌾

Streamed on:

2 Corinthians 8 & 9 are some of the most powerful teachings in the Bible on giving, grace, and generosity. Paul uses the example of the Macedonians—who gave out of poverty with overflowing joy—and calls the Corinthians (and us) to do the same.

Generosity isn’t about the size of the gift—it’s about the heart behind it, the grace of God working through it, and the fruit it produces in others.

🔹 The Macedonian Example – Joyful giving despite hardship (8:1–5)
🔹 Jesus Our Pattern – Though rich, He became poor for us (8:9)
🔹 Willing and Cheerful – Not forced, but from love (8:12; 9:7)
🔹 Sowing and Reaping – Give generously, reap abundantly (9:6–11)
🔹 Thanksgiving to God – Generosity leads to worship (9:12–15)

We see Jesus as the ultimate giver, who became poor so we might become rich. Giving becomes a grace, a testimony, and an act of worship when done in His name.
