Welcome Chaim Malespin to the Watchmen. Commander in the IDF with over 20 years of active-duty and reserve combat service, specializing in elite engineering, special ops, and tactical command.

Currently deployed for nearly 700 consecutive days in the Swords of Iron War, with extensive experience across Gaza, northern Israel, and Lebanon.

Veteran of multiple major operations, including the Second Lebanon War (2006), Cast Lead, Protective Edge, and Swords of Iron.

Served in the Combat Engineering Corps and Yahalom Unit (EOD, counter-tunnel ops, demolitions, and classified missions).

Decorated with honors for service and known for tactical innovation, mentoring elite fighters, and consistency under fire.
Alongside his military service, he directs the Aliyah Return Center in the Galilee with my wife and family. We help returning Jews, immigrants, and soldiers find a home in Israel, while standing in the gap for Israel internationally.
