Overflowing rivers submerge more villages in Pakistan

Heavy rain on Thursday (September 4) continued to lash parts of Pakistan, causing widespread destruction as major rivers overflowed and submerged villages. Irfan Ali Kathia, director-general of the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, said "nearly 3,951 villages have been flooded in the entire Punjab province."
