Empty #1

Empty

I walk through rooms with no light,
Shadows stretch, they grip me tight.
Every sound is hollow air,
Nothing’s left but silent stare.

I reach for warmth that’s never near,
A fading voice I cannot hear.
The walls collapse, the floor gives way,
And I am empty every day.

Empty — like a sky without a sun,
Empty — nowhere left to run.
Lost inside, I can’t pretend,
I am hollow with no end.

Memories fade, like smoke they rise,
Empty laughter, empty cries.
I hold the space where love once stood,
Now I wander, misunderstood.

I reach for warmth that’s never near,
A fading voice I cannot hear.
The walls collapse, the floor gives way,
And I am empty every day.

Empty — like a sky without a sun,
Empty — nowhere left to run.
Lost inside, I can’t pretend,
I am hollow with no end.

Even the night refuses to stay,
Stars have gone, colors decay.
But in this void, I feel a spark,
A fragile light within the dark.

Empty — yet I feel a glow,
Empty — a seed begins to grow.
Lost inside, but I’ll ascend,
From hollow walls, I’ll rise again.
