Fears #1

Fears

I feel the shadows crawling in my mind,
Every step ahead, the past I find.
Whispers echo of what could go wrong,
A silent scream I’ve held too long.

The walls are closing, I can’t breathe,
The weight of doubt won’t let me leave.
But in the darkness, I see clear,
I can’t be ruled by my fears.

Fears — they try to take my soul,
Fears — but I won’t let them hold.
Through the night, I’ll find the light,
I won’t surrender to my fright.

Every memory drags me down,
I feel the chains I’ve wrapped around.
But even when the storm is near,
I whisper strength to face my fear.

The walls are closing, I can’t breathe,
The weight of doubt won’t let me leave.
But in the darkness, I see clear,
I can’t be ruled by my fears.

Fears — they try to take my soul,
Fears — but I won’t let them hold.
Through the night, I’ll find the light,
I won’t surrender to my fright.

If I fall, I’ll rise again,
Every ending shapes the men.
Fear may linger, but it won’t stay,
I’ll chase the shadows far away.

Fears — they try to take my soul,
Fears — but I won’t let them hold.
Through the night, I’ll find the light,
I won’t surrender to my fright.
