The midwives knew what the king wanted them to do. But the midwives were more afraid of what God would say about them killing the children that they didn’t do it! The babies were safe! Today let’s read Exodus 1:17 and grab the same toys from the previous lesson and repeat the same activity. The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live.
