The UNDRIP (UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous People and the 2030 UN are deeply connected due to the 2030 Global Agenda’s commitment to ‘Leave No-One Behind’. Realizing Indigenous Peoples Rights as outlined by the UNDRIP which provides crucial guidance for achieving the UN Global Agenda Global Development Goals (SDGs). Over a 1/3rd of the SDGs have specific links to UNDRIP Provisions, that ensure Indigenous Peoples needs and priorities are addressed. Both the UNDRIP and the UN Global Agenda 2030 emphasize Human Rights and Sustainable Development, making the UNDRIP a Critical Tool for implementing the Global Development Goals Globally, Regionally, Nationally and locally at all levels in a way that they benefit Indigenous Peoples worldwide.
