Back in the Day: Chapter 4 - Roll Up

M4CH1N3 x PLAYAZ CONNECTION

When searching through every song we had ever created for this project, I found an unmixed file hidden within my recording sessions almost lost to time. This song has never been heard by anyone before now, originally recorded with Luke, Willie & our old friend Quincy at a studio we had in Riviera Beach, Florida back in 2019. These recordings happened before my first album streaming online now called Become the Machine, right before my Hollywood tour. At the time, I had gotten too busy and left a few songs unmixed, forgot about them & only rediscovered them when sifting through history to build the framework of this album.

The song was never finished, as you can hear from Quincy’s verse on the track. I do not remember why we didn’t finish it, but both him and Willie had unfinished verses so I mixed them together with the vocals available and believe it turned out to be a fun song. Happy to hear it finally exist at all.
