The parallels with where we are today are unmistakable.

We are trapped into a downward spiral with seemingly no way out.

But somehow we will always find a way to succeed.

Sometimes we forget to celebrate the little victories; the small steps forward, the quiet battles won, that have brought us this far.

This has been a long journey, a painful one, a journey of transformation and evolution. Yes, there is still a long road ahead and much more we want to see. We still wish for justice, accountability and more truth revealed, but we mustn’t lose sight of how far we’ve already come.

Look back just three, four, five years ago… the conversations happening today, the truths being spoken openly, the level of awareness spreading across the world, would have been impossible then. The tide is turning, and people are awakening at a pace we could hardly have imagined.

So let’s take a moment to pat ourselves on the back. Humanity is evolving. Awareness is growing. We are not where we want to be yet, but we are not where we once were either. And that in itself is a victory worth remembering.
