This here is my unilateral bicep curl using cables
Lite
Top set/First set.
Right Side.
45 KGS

This Lite rep range target is 12 minimum, including the self spots.

I really love cables with biceps because it really help with keeping the tension. The pump "feels illegal" and, like my biceps, is going to rip out of my bloody skin. 🥵

Key thing : Try to start with the arm in a Flexed, fully stretched position. This will give you more range of motion and thus a potential for more muscle growth and increased strength gains.
