Founder of Messiah of Israel Ministries. Zev was born in Israel into a Sanhedrin Rabbi’s family and raised in Bnei Brak, one of the most Jewish Orthodox cities in Israel.

Zev’s grandfather, Rabbi Pinchas Porat, was a holocaust survivor who later became one of the heads of the Sanhedrin in Israel. Certified as a Jewish rabbi, Zev never truly experienced the presence of God and drifted away from Judaism. But that all changed when Zev had a number of supernatural encounters that brought him to the faith in Messiah Yeshua (Christ Jesus). Led by the Holy Spirit, Zev founded Messiah of Israel Ministries, one of the very few Messianic congregations actively preaching the Gospel in almost every aspect of public life in Israel today. Over the many years, Messiah of Israel Ministries has been reaching Holocaust survivors, IDF soldiers, discipleship programs for new believers (Messianic congregations), Jewish rabbis, Muslim imams, Israeli citizens; as well as international tourists through street ministries in major Israeli population centers and at the Kotel (Western Wall), in addition to reaching many other people through numerous venues with the contextual Biblical truth of Messiah Yeshua.

Zev teaches the Word of God from a unique Biblical Hebrew foundation perspective of faith in Yeshua, and how we can prepare ourselves as the Bride, to meet Yeshua the Messiah in the second coming and New Kingdom.
