Sideways Chess

This video was captured in the chess.com classroom, with my chess friend @yaakovcontent , he actually has his own account, so I pinged it.
This was quite the experience, it was very.... interesting to play, and funny to watch the pawns go backwards, but what I ask myself is: would it have been better if I were to be able to make the pawns go the other way like in normal chess? Or is it good that it's pretty different? You guys let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
