Hi, I’m Sal Lopez Executive Director of Ozark Hunger Relief, I am doing this to hopefully find some sponsors (tax deductible donations) for an office in Prairie Grove, Ar. I have seen and fed many children who wander around here. I thought if I started a non-profit, the community would be happy to help. Nope! I’ve had nothing but suspicion, derision, denial, and was eventually ripped off for everything I had, by another food pantry. They offered to let me work with their food pantry, then when I delivered everything I had, they told me to they couldn’t let me in their office, but subsequently asked me for more of my money. It has been horribly depressing, but I will persevere and get this office open.
My vision is to be a community resource center, but the main goal is to feed hungry kids, whose parents are drug addicts, and/or alcoholics. I guess some are just poor. Anyway, I need help and will advertise for you, and have signs of acknowledgement for every donor, proportionate for the donation. Remember to try to stay positive, you can choose your state of mind, so I offer this advice: Philippians 4:8
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Anyway, this episode is Revelation 15 Celebrating God’s Victory and Your Triumph Good morning, friends! Today, we’re stepping into the powerful chapter of Revelation 15, where we see a scene of triumph, worship, and God’s ultimate victory. This is a moment where heaven itself celebrates the justice and glory of our God, and I believe it’s a message for you today: no matter what you’re facing, God is turning your battles into blessings, and your victory is on the way! Get ready, because God is about to lift you into a season of praise and power! In Revelation 15:2-3, we see a beautiful picture: those who had overcome the beast, standing by a sea of glass mingled with fire, holding harps, and singing the song of Moses and the Lamb. They’re not defeated; they’re victorious! Verse 3 says, “Great and marvelous are Your deeds, Lord God Almighty.” Friends, this is a celebration of God’s faithfulness. These overcomers faced trials, but they didn’t give up, and now they’re singing a song of triumph. That’s you! You may be in a battle right now, but God is preparing a victory celebration for you. This theme of overcoming through God’s power runs all through Scripture. Think about the Israelites in Exodus 14:13-14, when Moses said, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today.” They were trapped, but God parted the Red Sea and brought them through. Or consider David in 1 Samuel 17:47, who declared, “The battle is the Lord’s,” before defeating Goliath. And don’t forget Paul in Romans 8:37, who said, “In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” Friend, your victory isn’t just coming—it’s already yours through Christ! Now, in Revelation 15:1, we see seven angels with seven plagues, the last ones to bring God’s judgment. It might sound heavy, but here’s the good news: this is God setting things right. He’s clearing away the darkness to make room for His light in your life. Isaiah 61:3 promises, “He will give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning.” Those plagues aren’t the end—they’re the prelude to your breakthrough. God is removing every obstacle so you can step into the fullness of His plan. Look at verse 4: “Who will not fear You, O Lord, and bring glory to Your name? For You alone are holy.” This is a call to worship, even in the storm. The overcomers didn’t wait for everything to be perfect to praise God—they praised Him in the midst of it. That’s a lesson for us. Like Job in Job 1:21, who said, “The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; may the name of the Lord be praised,” your praise activates God’s power. Psalm 34:1 says, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” When you worship, you shift the atmosphere, and God moves on your behalf. Here’s what I love about this chapter: the overcomers stand on a sea of glass, a symbol of peace after the storm. They’ve been through fire, but now they’re standing in victory. Maybe you’ve been through some fiery trials—health issues, financial struggles, or family challenges. But Revelation 15 shows us that God brings you through to a place of peace. Philippians 4:7 promises, “The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Your storm is temporary, but your triumph is eternal. So, what do you do when life feels overwhelming? You stand firm and worship. The overcomers didn’t quit; they sang. Like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3:17-18, who trusted God in the fiery furnace, your faith will bring you out stronger. Hebrews 12:2 tells us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Keep your eyes on Him, and He’ll carry you to victory. The seven angels with plagues in Revelation 15 are a sign that God is finishing what He started in your life. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and give you a hope and a future.” Your future is bright!Friends, you’re not just surviving—you’re overcoming. God has placed a song of victory in your heart. Maybe it’s a new job, restored health, or a strengthened family—whatever it is, God is preparing it for you. Revelation 15:3 calls God’s deeds “great and marvelous,” and I believe He’s about to do something great and marvelous in your life. 2 Corinthians 9:8 says, “God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” You’re on the edge of abundance! Let’s pray. Heavenly Father, thank You for Your victory and Your power. We choose to worship You today, trusting that You are bringing us through every trial into triumph. Fill us with Your peace and joy, and let Your marvelous deeds shine in our lives. We give You all the glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Now, go out there and live like the overcomer you are. Your celebration is coming, and your best days are ahead!
