Shop Chop 8

Welcome back to the channel! Today we're back in the shop, and I'm sharing a little DIY mishap. If you saw the last livestream, you know I got a bit ahead of myself and accidentally installed some cement boards without putting the roll insulation in first. Whoops!

So, the plan for today is a bit of a redo. We're going to carefully remove those boards (wish me luck!) to get the insulation in where it belongs. I'm all about learning from my mistakes, so I'll walk you through the process and share what I've learned.

After that's sorted, if we have time, I'll tackle the more challenging cuts. We'll be working on fitting the partial boards at the bottom of the wall and cutting around the window—definitely a good test of patience! Especially after my last experience trying to get a smooth cut on thin slices of Hardie Backer board! 🤦
