We start with support for a grieving father and a quick rumor check (Hatfields/McCoys “lamb” post), then slide into real-life chat about asthma tools (nebulizers, sensitivities, local honey) and why some of us keep personal plans offline. The room discusses handing out flyers at the Hendersonville Veterans Park event (permits, free-speech boundaries) and clears up strike/rumor blame. After a little levity, we set up and play a key excerpt of Chasing Truth’s “Salem” piece—about how ordinary people normalize cruelty online, DV-report spectacle, and why outrage cycles keep paying. I also share why a creator’s “well-deserved” comment (re: my child) hit hard, even as I still think the Salem analogy is worth hearing.
