Leslie Arkansas Most Whittling at Once World Record 2025

We did it! We participated in the towns whittling contest to set a world record for the most people whittling at one time. At the end it was declared there where 285 total people whittling at once and we played our part. It was a beautiful day and the streets of Leslie were buzzing with energy; folks walking and laughing, hanging out and shopping at the vendors tents. There was an array of different crafter and artisan booths selling their creations. Live blugrass music, the smell of good food and screaming chainsaws filled the air; yes there were chainsaw artists!

Hope you enjoy the walk around town and the festival. The mayor also declared that the day is officially Voilet Brumley Hensley Day for the town. Known as the "Whittling Fiddler" she is 108 years old (almost 109) and was whittling along with us all.
