Back in the Day: Chapter 6 - Hit the Road

One of the first songs I ever recorded back in the day when I started making music with Greg from The Pickets. We produced a few albums in Austin, Texas back in 2010, but all of these projects were experiments of sound testing what was possible as neither of us had really made music like that before then. Most of the music was terrible, but amongst the failures were a few gems that just needed some modern polishing to shine again.

Many of the songs on this album come from this time. When we first started our music had a heavy psychedelic feel, and I would like to think that we have managed to carry that vibe with us across all of our work in time. Even still, there's nothing quite like the work from our first projects back in the day.

Maybe someday we'll release all the original music (probably bout a thousand songs so far) online somewhere for future fans. For now, Back in the Day will serve that need some by standing as a house of music to give the best of our work a home.
