As expected, that common-sense decision sent Democrats into a soy spiral because they viewed it as a massive show of masculine reassertion. Oh no, not that! The renaming sent MSNBC’s Eddie Glaude’s estrogen levels soaring. —— MSNBC’s Eddie Glaude hyperventilates that Trump wants to rebrand the Department of Defense as 'Department of War' because of the admin’s desire to be “manly men." This is somehow presented as an argument against the idea. —— This is how out of touch the Democrats are. He’s making the case for Trump. America doesn’t want girly men protecting the country. Manly men? Anything but THAT! Posters agree that Glaude’s overreaction shows that Trump made the right choice. —— “If that makes sense.” No Eddie, no it doesn’t make sense. Just because you randomly list some historical conflicts does not mean your point has somehow magically landed. Could it be that the rename is because war is a serious thing, and the department should reflect that?
