The sixth seal is the great cosmic alarm, earthquakes, sun darkened, moon turned to blood, and mankind hiding in fear of God’s wrath to come. The seventh trumpet is the consummation of the mystery, when the last trumpet sounds, the dead are raised, the living are transformed, the elect are gathered, the kingdom is transferred to Christ, and the saints are rewarded.
