Every once in a while a scandal becomes so big, the talking heads must comment on it. Even more rare is when it’s so completely obvious the spin is difficult for said talking heads. These are the jewels of the journey to disclosure. Something else to be aware of is when you find those jewels, how quickly does the news cycle change with some explosive happening that turns all eyes to the new matter.
