Groaneth and Travaileth

When this world and everything was created, everything was good, very good. There was no sin. There was no sorrow. There was no death. The ground was not cursed, and Adam, if he had to dig, would not encountered hard dirt or thistles or thorns. It may be that roses bloomed without thorns on their stems.
As a disciple of Jesus Christ, you have plenty to look forward to and plenty to rejoice in right now, but there are also plenty of reasons to groan and travail. And we always have rejoicing and groaning while we still walk this earth. Thankfully, one day the groaning and the travailing will be over and we have so much more to see and rejoice in.
