1 Peter 2:13-25

Lord God in heave, we praise You and thank You that through Jesus we have the very best example of obedience. Not only to You but also to the authorities You set over us, while here on earth. We praise You and thank You that we given the understanding of the submission and the remembrance that we do this for Your sake and not the sake of those in power. Lord, we ask that in moments when we are tempted to go against the authorities, that Your Holy Spirit reminds us how Jesus gave Himself us, He did not revile back to His captors, nor threatened them. Let us remember we belong to You and nothing anything can do to us can change that. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
