1 Peter 3:13-22

Lord god in heaven, we praise You and thank You for the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit, that through Your Spirit we have confidence when we find ourselves being persecuted for Jesus’ sake, that we will keep faithful and true to You. We will find peace through the suffering, knowing we are keeping in Your will, being obedient even if it means death. Lord, we ask that if and when those times come, You remind us we belong to You, bought by Your blood and seal with Your Holy Spirit. To die is gain, we get to be with You! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
