Fellow Chrisian: The goal is to edify and build up our neighbor, to help them mature, to grow

Stages of Development:
* Nepios = A newborn, a baby; that is what we are when we are born again - a baby Christian
* Paion = A young child, a toddler
* Taknon = Descended by birth; a teenager, young adult, still needing their parent
* Huios = Son; is used for a fully mature adult in a spiritual context

What does a milk diet produce?
Milky, immature believers, always on the milk

Babies are subject to deception – 1 Timothy 4: 1

Baby Christians are fodder for deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons

It is good for our neighbor to grow, to become more mature, and not deceived!

I believe Jesus Messiah desires for His people to grow
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” 2 Peter 3: 18a

The Goal of Growth – Ephesians 4: 13-14

Reach out your hand, help your brother to grow!

The strong are to BUILD UP the weak!

"Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way; say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; you God will cone. He will cone with vengeance; with divine retribution He will come to save you." Isaiah 35:3-6
