Japan were at the forefront and pioneers of UK's post-punk New Wave genre.

They began in the mid-70's as students from south-east London and were influenced by David Bowie, Sex Pistols, New York Dolls and later by Roxy Music.

This piece is from 1979 around the time or just after their second album, Obscure Alternatives.

Vocals: David Sylvian
