False Revival? Rodney Howard-Browne, Art Lucier, Sammy Robinson & Steve Holmstrom

Rodney Howard-Browne, who calls himself the “Holy Ghost bartender”, is known for distributing a so-called drunken spirit that causes people to flop on the ground, lose control of their speech, and stagger like drunkards. This practice traces back to the Toronto Blessing.

Pastor David Wilkerson, in his sermon “Reproach of the Solemn Assembly” (1999), warned:

“I weep when I see these videos… Whole groups of bodies jerking out of control, falling on the floor, laughing hysterically, staggering around like drunkards. Anything that cannot be found in Scripture has to be rejected outright—totally rejected.”

At this same Canadian event, Art Lucier of Harvest Ministries was thanked and credited with providing staging and equipment, saving organizers an estimated $100,000. His ministry’s involvement tied him directly to the event’s costs and offerings.

Later, Sammy Robinson prophesied over Steve Holmstrom, declaring:

“I want to prophesy today, Steve Holstrom, there’s a fresh mantle coming on you in this season… God is going to use you for Canada being saved in this next season”.

Robinson also claimed 2025 would begin with six months of warfare but end with revival breaking out across Canada.
