East Side Kids: Let's Get Tough!, 1942

The Pearl Harbor assault infuriates Muggs, Danny, and the rest of their group, who desire to join the military. They become irate and harass an Asian merchant after being turned away due to their age. The shopkeeper was Chinese, not Japanese, as the lads discover when he is discovered dead. The gang is determined to make amends for their actions, and they become determined to expose a true group of Japanese spies operating in the area after discovering evidence of their presence. When Danny learns that his older brother was dishonorably discharged from the Navy, it further worries him.
