NYPD Police Body Cam of Police Involved Shooting in Brooklyn 70th Precinct

NYPD 70th Precinct Officer-Involved Shooting on August 12, 2025 in front of 533 Ocean Avenue, Brooklyn NY.

The perpetrator, Mr. Bauday, was involved in a dispute with another individual. Mr. Bauday and the other individual both produced firearms and exchanged gunfire with each other. The officer were on routine patrol in a marked NYPD vehicle arrived at the location and approached Mr. Bauday. While the officers approached Mr. Bauday, he continued to discharge his firearm at the other individual before fleeing on foot. Both officers discharged their firearms, a total of 19 rounds, striking Mr. Bauday. He was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries. The individual that was exchanging gunfire with Mr. Bauday who fled the scene was later apprehended.
