School Secretaries & Caretakers Demand Pension Parity

In late August 2025, over 2,600 school secretaries and caretakers in Ireland, represented by the Fórsa trade union, launched an indefinite strike to demand pension parity with teachers and SNAs. Protests have taken place across Dublin, Cork, and other regions, with pickets at schools and government offices.
