Is Poverty A Curse?

Let us reflect on the way Christ came into the world, no royal blankets, but rags were used to wrap him to be placed in a manger. He was born into the world in exactly the opposite of the perceived Royalty of this world, does this mean Jesus, the Christ was cursed?
